President’s Welcome
Hello and welcome to Omega Chi Sigma!
Omega Chi Sigma is a co-ed professional fraternity at Penn State University. We focus on the interrelationships between the business world and the worlds of science, technology, engineering and math-related fields. The purpose of this organization is to provide opportunities to better develop skills necessary for success in a professional business setting. We celebrate the need for cooperation and teamwork between those of all majors and career paths at Penn State University.
Our organization aims to focus on professional development, diversity and inclusion, community service, THON, and social interactions of our members. For professional development, we will be hosting speaker series, resume and LinkedIn workshops, public speaking and interview skill workshops, and much more! Our members have benefitted greatly from these workshops and have been able to land internships and full time positions at a number of well-known companies. Some include: EY, Deloitte, PWC, Amazon, Citi Group, Campbell’s, JP Morgan, CVS, IBM, and PepsiCo. We are thrilled to share the successes of our members and constantly push one another to best the best we can.
Having been a part of this fraternity for the past 2 years, I am extremely excited to have the ability to lead this organization into the future. Omega Chi Sigma has not only introduced me to a diverse group of people that have evolved my perspective and professional development, it has also given me a community and brotherhood of individuals whom I can rely on and I am proud to call my friends. Our three pillars are Confidence, Selflessness and Optimism. These pillars have guided and enriched me during my time at Penn State and I will continue to adhere by these principals as I further my professional career. I hope that you will consider joining this organization and have these pillars instilled in you. We look forward to meeting you all soon during Recruitment.
